Repair a Forest Community

During this tree planting event, volunteers will get the chance to replant and restore an area of Old Growth Forest, which was recently cleared of invasive European Buckthorn. By planting trees you’ll obtain, engaging, hands on experience, alongside an educational component. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in a discussion on the management of invasive species, and the importance of restoration practices within urban forest management. The objective is to increase awareness and to allow members of the community to connect with the land.
