Inspired by the Miyawaki Method developed in Japan in the 1970s\,\nthis downtown Guelph homeowner planted roughly 250 native trees and shrubs within just 72 square metres in fall 2021.\n\nIn only a few years\, the space has grown into a thriving mini forest\, demonstrating how even the smallest urban lots can help\nrestore biodiversity and create pockets of nature in the heart of the city.\n\nThe homeowner will lead guided tours\nEvent goes rain or shine\nFree on-street parking\n\nFamily friendly\n\nNo registration required
